For many years the Kaknäs tower (Swedish: Kaknästornet) was the tallest building in Scandinavia, measuring 170 meters (including antenna). It was finished in 1967 and is used for Swedish television, radio and satellite broadcasts. The tower is open to the public and will provide nice views of Stockholm and the archipelago.
