The
Trevi Fountain is the largest Baroque fountain in Rome and measures
nearly 26 meters in height. The fountain is situated at the junction of
three roads and marks the end of the Aqua Virgo, one of the ancient
aqueducts that supplied water to the ancient Rome. The fountain itself
was built between 1732 and 1762. Make sure to throw a coin into the
fountain, as a traditional legend holds that visitors who do so are
ensured a return to Rome!
