Vinohrady is the elegant and prestigious residential area of Prague. Most of its Art Noveau, Pseudo Baroque and Neo-Gothic buildings were built in the 19th century. The Vinohrady district served as a vineyard during the 14th century. Several parks are located within the district, with the largest ones being the Riegrovy sady and the Havlickovy sady.
