The
Pantheon in Paris is located in the Latin Quarters and was originally
built as a church. This building is an early example of Neoclassicism,
with a façade modelled on the famous Pantheon in Rome. The construction
of the Pantheon started in 1758 and was completed in 1789. The famous
sculpture 'The Thinker' made by Rodin was located in the Pantheon for
several years until it was moved to the Rodin museum.
