The
Eiffeltower is the most famous landmark in Paris and one of the most
recognizable buildings in the world. The 324 meter tall tower was built
between 1887 and 1889 as the entrance arch for the 1889 World's Fair and
is named after its designer, Gustave Eiffel. The Eiffeltower has two
restaurants, one located on the first floor and one on the second floor.
Millions of visitors climb the tower every year, the first two levels
can be reached by either stairs or elevators, while the third level can
only be reached by the latter. |
