The
Arbat is a lively pedestrian street and once a bohemian quarter of the
city. It is part of the old Moscow and has a fine selection of cafes,
restaurants and bars. During the 18th century the Arbat became popular
with Moscow’s intelligentsia and artistic community. The pastel facades
of the houses and the lively atmosphere makes the Arbat an interesting
place to visit in Moscow.
