'The HMS Belfast was ordered in 1936 and was commissioned in 1939 into
the Royal Navy. It is named after the capital city of Northern Ireland
and has seen combat in many parts of the world, including World War II
and the Korean Conflict. Instead of heading to the scrap yard, local
historians fought to save the HMS Belfast and she was brought to London
in 1971 and is now preserved and part of the Imperial War Museum.
