Manneken Pis is, besides the Atomium and the Grand Place, the most
famous landmark of Brussels. It features a small bronze fountain with a
boy urinating. It was designed by Jerome Duquesnoy and put in place in
1618 or 1619. It measures only 61 cm in height and is located at the
junction of Rue de l'Étuve/Stoofstraat and Rue du Chêne/Eikstraat. On
many occasions the statue is dressed in a costume.
