Experience the oldest zoo in Germany with the world's largest collection
of species! Opened in 1844 and measuring 35 hectares, the Berlin zoo
will provide you an insight into the world of animals. Home of the
famous polar bear Knut, which was born in captivity at the Zoo on 5
December 2006. The Zoo is open all year long and is situated next to the
Berlin Zoologischer Garten railway station.
