Syntagma Square is the heart of the city and is named after the Greek constitution (syntagma). The center of the square is planted with trees and a popular gathering place in the city center. You will find many bars, cafes and top hotels surrounding the area. Adjacent to the square is the Parliament building, which used to be the royal palace.
