The
National Garden of Athens is a green refuge of more than 15 hectares in
the city center, located directly behind the Greek Parliament building.
It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy all it has to offer. Several
ancient ruins and Corinthian capitals of columns can be found in the
National Garden. The garden was commissioned by Queen Amalia in 1838 and
completed by 1840.
